Documentary wedding photography in Tuscany. What you need to know before you hand me a date.

Hello, I am Marco

I photograph the day as it happens.

I have photographed weddings since 2022. My references come from cinema rather than posed photography: real people, while they are living their day.

I stay inside the celebration from beginning to end, and I wait. The things worth having happen once, almost always while nobody is thinking about photographs: my job is to be there the moment they do.

Based in the Valdarno, between Florence and Arezzo.

Working together

What comes back to you

You build the day for months; I hand it back to you in photographs. Here is how that works, in the details you usually want first.

A whole day, not a selection

Ask me for a complete wedding gallery: I will send it exactly as the couple received it, from nine in the morning to two at night. A selection shows the best moments; a whole day shows how they hold together.

The photographs when you need them

A preview of a few images within days, while that wedding is still being talked about. The full delivery within two months, with the date written into the contract along with everything else. They arrive as a link to download from: if you need them again later, just ask.

The images are yours too

A selection for your website and your own channels, credited to me in the caption: no expiry date, and no asking each time. Styling, table settings and details are photographed before the room opens, while they are still exactly as you left them.

The timings of the day

The portraits are the only moment that needs time set aside, and we place it wherever you prefer in the schedule. For the rest, I follow the day as you have built it, from beginning to end.

You are the one I talk to

If the wedding comes through you, I deal with you: questions, timings and updates go through you, and whatever there is to know, you know it before the couple do.

Where I work

Tuscany, and wherever the wedding is

Florence and Chianti, Arezzo and the Valdarno, the Casentino, Siena and the Val d'Orcia: this is where I usually work, among country estates, villas and farmhouses.

Outside the region and abroad I travel gladly, including multi-day celebrations. Travel is accounted for in the proposal.

When more is needed

Second photographer, drone, video

I work alone or with a second photographer, and with a drone when it is useful. For video I work with people I know: I coordinate them, they sit in the same proposal, and you carry on speaking to one person only.

With a video crew we divide the space by talking it through in the morning, before anything starts: a two-minute agreement that heads off the one friction that really does come up between suppliers.

Italian and English: the site has an English version you can forward straight to your couples.
